Obelisk Africa Ltd operates obelisk.africa and Obelisk Terminal. For waitlist sign-ups we are the data controller — we decide what is collected and why.

What we collect

Only what the waitlist form asks for: your email address, your professional role, the country you are in, and the timestamp of your sign-up.

Standard server request data (IP address, user agent) is handled by our hosting and database provider as part of serving the site.

Why we collect it

To contact you about early access and launch, and to understand demand by market and role.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Legal basis

Consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time and we will delete your record.

Who processes it

Our hosting and managed database provider processes the data on our instructions as a processor.

We use no analytics, advertising or email marketing tools today. This page will be updated before any are added.

Retention

We keep your record while the waitlist is active, and delete it on request or once it is no longer needed for launch communications.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your record, a copy of it, correction, or deletion, and you can withdraw consent. Email us and we will action it.
